Booking Process:

1. What is the reason for the presence of limited number of results in a general search?

The booking engine performs intelligent search and thereby optimizes the search results to produce the Affordable fare and the best route option possible. The results are optimized and produce and therefore only the best results are displayed for the general search so that it is also easy and fast to navigate. However the option where you want to travel by specific airlines is open. In this situation you need to Search by Airline option to get all the search results of your chosen airline.

2. Can the fares for the preferred airline be searched?

Yes this option is available with airntickets. On our home page booking engine just run the search on the basis of your preferred Airline. If the search is conducted in this fashion then the results will be displayed specific to your selected airline only.

3. Are the prices shown on the site applicable in USA dollars only?

The prices are applicable in USA dollar for all the patrons across the globe. In case if your credit card has been issued by a Non USA bank then the bank may charge some extra fees towards foreign currency transaction charges for reservation. Before you proceed for booking the tickets please consult your bank about the charges applicable.

4. Is there any sort of hidden charges in the fares that have been displayed on your search results pages?

No there are no hidden charges in the search results on airntickets. It is final and inclusive of base fare and taxes. However if there are many passengers in your booking please select the number of passengers when entering the search criteria and the prices are displayed accordingly.

5. What is an e-ticket?

E-Ticket is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number termed as PNR allotted to the passengers in place of paper tickets. While checking in for the flight the passengers need to produce the copy of itinerary received by email that contains the PNR and e-ticket number.

6. Do I need to book ticket for my infant or child?

Yes there is the requirement to book tickets for child and infant. The fares will however be different depending on the age of the child. Thus when you are making reservation for children please enter the exact age for the child and then the fares will be calculated to precision. All the international travellers including children and infants need to have valid tickets and passport with visa.

7. What is the process of booking?

After having selected the airline and furnishing the details of the passengers and payment, click the submit button, we will vouch your credit card and book your reservation. The entire process will take few seconds. While the process is being done do not shut or quit the browser. The next screen will appear with confirmation and PNR number. An email will also be accompanied with the confirmation details. In case you do not see the PNR number or if you do not receive the confirmation email then contact the customer support.

8. Why do I need to share my email address and phone number while making the reservation?

The email address and phone number that you share are primary source of contact and our Customer Care contacts with you regarding the reservations with the help of these contact details. Also there could be a scenario whereby there is a mismatch on the credit card or any such reason so in this situation we need to get in touch with you. Thus enter your correct and valid contact information during the account setup or login setup.

9. Can I make the reservation from phone?

Yes the reservations can be made on phone, just dial us and our travel experts are their to assist you 24/ 7. For this service there are no extra charges.

10. Can I make reservations on behalf of any other person?

If you can furnish us with the required information, you can surely make reservations on behalf of any person.

11. What is the maximum number of seats that I can book?

At a time you can book 9 seats at maximum. In case if you want to book more than 9 seats you need to re-complete the booking process for the remaining travellers.

12. How can the booking for a group travel be done?

In case of group travel requirements just mail us at airntickets, with subject line as group travels. Our experts will connect with you. There is an option to connect with our customer care for the same. It’s a request while booking for group travels try to furnish as much of details as possible like number of adults and children travelling, budget, destination and such other details.

Payment options:

1. What are the payment options available with airntickets?

The payments can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, bank transfer or cheque.

3. Is there a requirement that the billing address needs to match with the address on file at the credit card company or the bank?

The Credit Card Company and airntickets use your billing address as a way to identify you and secure you from unauthorized charges. If the billing address used during the booking process does not tally with the address used by the credit card or the bank company to send the statement the transaction will not be authorized.

Delivery of tickets:

1. Where will the paper ticket for my flight be delivered?

Your ticket will be delivered to the address specified at the time of booking.

2. How will I receive my e-tickets?

Your e-tickets details will be sent via e-mail, on the id that you had registered during the booking process.

3. can the address be changed for the delivery of tickets after the booking process?

This can be done very easily, all you need to do is send an identity confirmation. In a written letter with your identity proof send us your request for the same. Or else simply contact our customer care with the request and they will guide you.

Security:

1. Is the information shared regarding the personal details secure?

Yes the details that you have shared with us are kept secured and are never shared unless there is a requirement by law to do the same.

2. Is the credit card transaction secure?

After Booking:

1. How early do I need to check in m flight?

Its feasible to arrive two to three hours prior to departure for international flights. For national flights and hour is the feasible time. However if you are travelling from major airports or during peak periods arrive early for smooth transit.

2. Can I change or cancel my reservations?

Depending on the airlines and the discounted fares on airntickets, there are different changing and cancellation policies. In case if you need to change or cancel your reservation please notify about the same to us via an email or call us with your reservation details. However there is no claim in case no show tickets or unused tickets.

3. What kind of VISA and documents are required for mu travel? Do I need transit VISA?

International travellers need to have all valid documents (identification proof) and visa to get an entry in other country even for transit countries in certain cases. Before making the bookings you need to have all your necessary travel documents and visas.

4. Where can I find airline toll free number?

5. Is it compulsory to present e-Ticket confirmation email at the airport check in?

It is no a compulsion to show your e-ticket. In case you are not carrying the e-ticket confirmation mail then you need to share your PNR number and present a photographic proof of identity at the airport counter of the airline to get your itinerary. However it is better and safer if you carry your e- ticket confirmation email and your e-ticket number.

6. How will I get my boarding pass for an e-ticket?

You need to present the e-ticket at the airline counter to get your boarding pass.
